23 Feb Mattress Price Ranges: Pricier Options to Consider
In part one of this two-part blog series, we went over some basics on the various price ranges available for mattresses today. Ranging from extremely cheap to very expensive, mattresses come in a huge variety of prices depending on several factors, from material and quality to thickness, durability, maintenance needs and more.
At 2 Brothers Mattress, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive range of mattress pricing options, from those under $600 up to mattresses in the over-$2,000 range. While part one of our series began with the lowest price ranges and worked upward, today’s part two will dig into the most expensive price ranges for mattresses – what are the materials and styles you begin to see, and when might you consider a mattress in this range? Here are some important facts to be aware of.
Above $1,000 Range
We’re already to the point in our price range search where virtually every material you run into will be of very high quality. Mattresses in the $1,000-$2,000 range will be available in all of the major materials you’re familiar with in this realm, including foam, innerspring, hybrid and also others like latex and airbed mattresses.
These options tend to come with minimum heights of 10 inches, though this can vary. As more and more clients have prioritized quality sleep and long-term durability in their mattresses, this price range area has exploded – meaning clients in it have tons of options, both in online sale formats and in-person storerooms.
Above $2,000 Range
When you cross above $2,000, you’ve reached the truly high-end price point for mattresses today. Not only will you be exposed to a comprehensive range of high-quality mattresses using only the very tip-top materials available, you’ll also have tons of customization options available – areas like height, firmness and several others will be flexible in many cases, including those where you can all but design your own bed from the ground up. There are also several preset template options using luxury or incredibly high-quality bedding materials, ideal for those with long-term sleep issues and those looking for temperature control while sleeping.
Above $5,000 Range
Finally, while mattresses that cost above $5,000 are rarer today, they do exist and can be sourced. These mattresses will generally be completely customized, often special-ordered by people with highly unique sleeping needs. For instance, someone who is over seven feet tall might order a custom bed that’s designed to be longer and wider than normal templates; when combined with high-quality materials, this sort of bed might enter this price range.
