In part one of this two-part blog series, we went over some basics on a mattress delivery during this unique holiday season. With online orders and product deliveries at an all-time high due to the pandemic and related factors, anyone making a significant purchase in this realm should be planning things out in advance and keeping a close eye on their deliveries to ensure there are no major delays or other issues.

In this unique year, what are some of the factors you should be keeping in mind for your mattress delivery? Here are a few basic variables to keep in mind.

Details and Person Present

Mattresses are high-value items, meaning their delivery generally requires an adult present during the delivery window – which we went over in part one – to accept the delivery when it arrives. Just to be sure here, we’ll send basic confirmations ahead of the delivery, whether via text, email, phone call or any of your other preferred preferences. If it’s completely impossible for someone to be home due to an emergency or some other event, do your best to call us as soon as possible to re-arrange delivery, which we’re happy to do at your convenience.

Safety and Convenience

As part of our mattress delivery services, we’re happy to do more than just drop the item off on your doorstep. We’ll also carry it into the room you want it in, remove all packaging, set up the metal bed frame and even remove your existing mattress from the room for you.

For the sake of both convenience and everyone’s safety here, we kindly ask that you clear the area in your home where we’ll be walking if you require these services. Ensure there are no furniture items or other potential tripping hazards in the way, plus that there are no slippery surfaces or moisture spills present. If you have pets who might get excited and interfere, we request you keep them in a separate room during delivery and setup.

Basic Health Factors

And of course, anytime we enter your home during the current pandemic situation, health of all involved will be a top priority for us. All our delivery and setup pros will wear masks and carry hand sanitizer at all times, plus maintain appropriate distance to prevent COVID spread risks of any kind.
